How are ratings calculated?
Ratings are calculated using Evan Miller's method (based on a Wilson score confidence interval) that is self-correcting. This means that the % of positive ratings & number of ratings decide a mods position on the top charts. The benefit of this approach is a mod with 2 positive ratings will not outrank one with 10 positive ratings but 2 negative. Nor will a mod with tons of rankings outrank everything unless most of the ratings are positive.
Rating levels
Ratings range from overwhelmingly positive to overwhelmingly negative. The color changes depending where on the scale the mod fits.

Hey man, i think you might have better luck using a different model than just the base shoe model, or maybe try substance painter or something. some of your stuff isnt that bad, but your shoes really could use some work. I dont think you have made a wearable pair in my opinion. Maybe try to practice a bit more and work on your shoes before you release them. Quality over Quantity. Keep working and youll get there man

Like is the front off? The side? What is not "wearable" about them?

Yeah unwearable is an awful ignorant statement. I love your shoes personally. I don't mind them at all? Not everyone cares down to the pixel honestly. You're playing a game with fake shoes lol idk man if you don't like it don't look at it or download it. Simple as that. And im not talking **** im just saying its unnecessary to say. And i cant stress how rude it is to say that he hasnt made a wearable pair. Thats raw lol

I literally said that in the nicest way humanly possible. far from ignorant lol

Fair enough lol you are correct in that. You did word most everything kindly. I just meant the specific statement "I don't think you have made a wearable pair". Could just be the way I'm interpreting it. Where I'm from though nobody would say that but we are known to be extremely nice and polite. Like to the max ๐

totally understandable man. I was just trying to say that most of the shoes in particular arent up to the standards most creators have put forward, thats all

Thank You brother! If he gave a specific reason why they aren't "wearable" that would be cool, but to just say i should us a different shoe model? Mshoes work best with my stance, so I'll keep making them!

there isnt one specific reason they arent wearable. there's alot. the only thing that is actually correct about the shoe is the sole. everything else is either misplaced, doesnt fit right, wrongly sized. i see you put out a ton of stuff which is awesome, i was just suggesting maybe taking some time and trying new things with your shoes. look at what other creators make and try to take some inspiration from then. no hard feelings man, just want to see you grow and get better since youre clearly committed. keep up the hard work

Thank you for actually saying what you don't like. Honestly, you're not wrong. These are the best representation of these shoes i could make. Are they perfect or is everything scaled exactly like the original? Hell no! I'm just putting the shoes out I think are cool in the best way I can...

no problem man, like i said, im glad you put out alot of stuff, and your clothes and decks are good! Shoes are alot more complicated, and the base shoe model isnt the best option for most shoes. try using different models depending on the shape of the shoe youre making. also, making a normal map will really help. use this site - Cpetry.github.io . you can drag and drop your texture and it will make a normal map. it will really help with the definition of your shoes

So then what is wrong with them specifically?
