Ratings are calculated using Evan Miller's method (based on a Wilson score confidence interval) that is self-correcting. This means that the % of positive ratings & number of ratings decide a mods position on the top charts. The benefit of this approach is a mod with 2 positive ratings will not outrank one with 10 positive ratings but 2 negative. Nor will a mod with tons of rankings outrank everything unless most of the ratings are positive.
Rating levels
Ratings range from overwhelmingly positive to overwhelmingly negative. The color changes depending where on the scale the mod fits.
This mod allows you to place your custom maps in any subfolder structure you want, and will render that folder structure in the game's menu.
Any map with a preview image will also display in folders as long as the preview image is beside the map.
Any map that needs an additional DLL file with it for extensions, the mod expects the DLL to be in the same folder with the same name as the map file. Any map extension DLLs only get loaded up if they aren't already loaded by another mod.
Sorting
The following sort methods are supported: Name ascending, name descending, filesize ascending, filesize descending, newest, oldest, author ascending, and author descending.
For filesize sorting, a folder will be treated as the sum of it's contents.
For newest/oldest sorting, a folder will be treated as it's oldest/newest content.
For author sorting, any level (and folders) without an author will be ignored.
Gear
This mod groups the built in official gear into brand folders.
This mod groups hair by style, and the you pick color.
This mod allows you to place your custom gear in any subfolder structure you want, and will render that folder structure in the game's menu.
Sorting
The following sort methods are supported: Name ascending, name descending, newest, and oldest.
For newest/oldest sorting, a folder will be treated as it's oldest/newest content. This does not work for all menus.
Options
Pressing the B/O button to back out of a folder once you've selected it is enabled by default. You can disable it in the mod settings.
There's a setting to shrink down the default font size of the Gear/Maps lists. By default, the font size is 36 which is a little large. Currently you can set it to Normal (36), Small (30), Smaller (24).
Note: Because of the way the game recycles list objects, it's recommended to set this value prior to entering the gear/maps menus OR to restart the game after setting this value.
Dark Mode - Will turn all of the menus to a dark background with light colored text.
Hide Official Gear - Hides all official gear from Character menu except for skin tones and hair.
If this mod shows up with a red status in game, does the following file exist on your system?<YourSkaterXLSteamDirectory>\SkaterXL_Data\Managed\0Harmony12.dll, if so, delete it. If you have this file, it's likely causing the issue. If you have more issues please feel free to reach out here or on Discord.
- With the introduction of custom skaters in XLGearModifier, XLMenuMod has been updated to ignore custom skater tabs. This was causing issues where the "Custom Skins" menu was not properly working for custom skaters.
Recompiled against the latest version of SkaterXL assemblies for the current alpha, 1.2.5.5.
Fixed LevelManagerPatch's LoadLevelScenePatch. Could no longer use `nameof` for the method, as it's no longer public.
## What's Changed
* 1.2.5.5 Compatibility by @MCBTay in Github.com
- Added dark mode support to "Enter Room Code" dialog.
- Added new sort for Gear, by type. So items of the same prefix will all be next to one another.
- Fixed issues with various label colors not being correct, especially in dark mode.
Fixed an issue where character gear (clothing, boards, etc) were not getting properly saved, thus your character would reset after the game was closed.
Currently does not seem to install properly with the absolute latest version of UMM, 0.23.3, for whatever reason. The only way I was able to get it to install was to downgrade UMM back to 0.22.15.0. Otherwise you can install it manually like the old days
Custom folder icons can now be used. To use them, in the folder, place a file called `folder.png`. It must be 256x256 or less, anything else will get ignored.
BUG FIX - Fixing an issue that prevented XLMenuMod from displaying custom skin tone and custom hair texture files. They should now be fully supported with folders like all other gear types.
Initial release of XLMenuMod! This build allows you to create folders in your custom maps/gear folders.

I switched to 1.2.2.8 and It still doesnt work too well, I asked for help in support Discord but i don't know whats happening. I seem to have the good version c:
Somehow I can't get the mod to appear green in the modlist anymore. There is no file 0Harmony12.dll under "SkaterXL_Data\Managed\", but there is one in "SkaterXL_Data\Managed\UnityModManager", but deleting that only causes other mods to error out as well. It installed fine, after disagreeing to install due to there being a 0Harmony.dll in a XLMenuMod folder which somehow prevented the UnityModManager from installing anything.
You put the zip file you download as a whole in Unity mod manager, dont extract the file, just dump the mod in the rar or zip file into the INSTALL section on the 2nd "page" of Unity Mod Manager. Hope this helps. โ
Thank you so much! It's really one of the best mods ever made because it makes the game so much easier to navigate! Being able to organise assets into folders is so useful and the Map Sorting feature is very welcome too. I'm running Menu Mod 2.5.0 with Alpha game version 1.2.3.11 and everything seems good.
Thanks again for all the work you put into building and updating this!
Thank you so much dude, such a needed mod. Wish easy day would actually get their stuff together and add this stuff to the base game but obviously that is just wishful thinking.
Already seeing a few little issues regarding text colors on various menus, especially in Dark Mode. Will hopefully be a 2.5.1 at some point over the weekend.

Work weird with 1.1.0.5

Did you use a version built for 1.1.0.5? Or did you use the latest version?
If the latter, I can't/won't troubleshoot that.

Haven't forgotten... Just taking me longer to resolve some of these issues than I had hoped.
